couple friends on the irc chat said i should extend the config on the main page to include other things but i didnt want to fill up that page so i made this one!
well i have bad news. mobile clients for IRC suck fucking dick. they dont keep your connection open. FLOODING every channel you have set to join with join and leave messages. so far i have not found a client that doesnt do it. if you absolutely must use a mobile client. just join #mobile so you don't flood EVERY channel.
halloy does have notification sounds. you just have to enable them in the config. here's my personal set up for notifications!

so. direct messages is pretty explainable. highlight is the same as being pinged in a discord channel. dont like these sounds? you can check out halloys website for the other default sounds. if you feel spicy. you can even add your own sounds =o
yes! while there's no setting in halloy for it. you can press Win + R then type shell:startup. all you have to do is pop a shortcut to halloy in the folder that pops up and ya done!
